When Salma Hayek came out Thursday night to host a book party for her friend and longtime hairstylist Robert Vetica, she demurred, “I am just the [book’s] cover girl,” but let slip that she was working on a beauty venture. “I shouldn’t be talking about this,” she said outside of Beso restaurant in Hollywood. “I am trying to develop a line with a drugstore. I have been doing research for two or three years. My approach is how we can get the essence of the really expensive [products] for everyone.”
