To celebrate Spanx’s Power Series Collection, a line of seamless shaping solutions, the company is partnering with Clinique to present Beauty Besties, a pairing of essentials from both brands for girls on the go.

To kick off the launch, which started on April 9, select Nordstrom stores will host events that include curated pairings of Clinique items and a Spanx Power Series consultation to experience which shapewear works best for the consumer. Additionally, there will be contouring tips from industry experts, raffles and a gift-with-purchase of any Beauty Besties Power Pair. The pairings include Spanx Power Panties, $38, with Clinique Pop Lip Colour & Primer, $18; Spanx Power Short, $38, and Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation & Concealer, $27; and Spanx Higher Power Short, $38, paired with Clinique Chubby Stick Sculpting Contour, $21.

“We used to be on the beauty floor and believe that coming back to that space is a natural adjacency for the consumer,” said Jan Singer, chief executive officer of Spanx. “Whether it’s shoes and tights or shapers and body treatment, we are on her mind in this space. We are also creating elevating consumer experiences around the store and online that support her where she shops and when she needs us most.”

Meanwhile, the launch of Power Series also marks the unveiling of new Spanx packaging with clear icons that show the shapewear’s silhouette. Also, it includes bold handwriting inspired by the founder of Spanx, Sara Blakely’s own notebook where she captures ideas and inspiration.

“We are partnering with beauty because we are essentially a second-skin company at the core,” noted Singer. “We understand the skin, we create innovations and solutions that provide beauty benefits from an intimate apparel lens.”
