MILAN — Charlotte Casiraghi is the face of a new Gucci Cosmetics collection, set to launch in September in select markets.

The line will include eye, face, lip, nail and skin preparation products, according to P&G Prestige, which has had a licensing agreement with Gucci since 2006 and produced hit fragrances such as Gucci Guilty and Gucci Première.

“Charlotte was a natural choice as she embodies the modern iconic Gucci woman,” said Gucci creative director Frida Giannini, describing Casiraghi as a “striking beauty.”

“I have really enjoyed my relationship with Frida over these last four years, and I am now excited to work with her again on this signature product. I have great admiration for her both as a designer and a strong and visionary woman,” said Casiraghi. She already appears in Gucci’s “Forever Now” ad campaign, and sported an equestrian wardrobe designed especially for her by Giannini in the 2010 Global Champions Tour.

Shot by photography duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the Gucci Cosmetics print campaign will roll out in tandem with the product launch and a digital film by Fabien Baron.
