Olive & June, the Beverly Hills nail outpost known for its minimalist modern decor and nail art, is set to open its second location on Aug. 7 in Pasadena, Calif.
“Since we opened in late 2013, we have worked extensively to truly understand our business before we branched out,” said Sarah Gibson Tuttle, founder of Olive & June. “Now we are comfortable in recreating the Olive & June experience. We have clients in just about every zip code in L.A. and all of them seem to want an O&J nearby. We wanted to start with Pasadena so we could have something on the east side.”
The new space is approximately 900 square feet and features familiar elements from its other location like its statement pale pink and wooden components. Also, it will include a floral installation by L.A.-based floral design company Moon Canyon and there will be a door joining the nail salon to Drybar, so clients can get their beauty fix all in one spot.
But Gibson Tuttle isn’t just committed to staying local; she’s looking to open in other markets.
