Based in Van Nuys, Calif., Beauty Collection’s three stores carry a varied assortment of skin care, hair care, cosmetics, tools, bath and body, and interior goods. The retailer retooled its Web site last year and is on the hunt for real estate to possibly add two units in the Los Angeles area this year.

BARBIE LOVES STILA PONYTAIL DOLL
We represent a lot of moms, and we have a young shopper as well in the 16- to 24-year-old age range who associates with Barbie. This is going to be a good launch. $40

HAIR BY REVITALASH HAIR CONDITIONER
RevitaLash has had so much success with its eyelash product. That has provided them a lot of credibility. Now that they’re getting to hair growth, there’s going to be carryover and this is going to be a great success. $180

JUARA CANDLENUT BODY CREME
This smells fantastic. It’s very relaxing and will appeal to a lot of consumers who are looking for a new moisturizing product. [Juara] isn’t an advanced skin care line, but it does offer more of a mild, everyday product. $35

These products are sulfate free and specially formulated for curly hair. In years past, straight hair has been in style, but curly hair is coming back, and this is great for those who want to take care of their curly hair. $17.75 each
