For fall, Tommy Bahama is all about the serene beaches of St.Kitts — and with its fragrance licensee, Parlux, will launch a limited-edition masterbrand celebrating the Caribbean destination.
St. Kitts for Men, concocted by Firmenich’s Harry Frémont, opens with kaffir lime, juicy mandarin and starfruit; has a heart of cedarwood, sea salt and watery accord, and a drydown of driftwood, ambergris and creamy musk. An eau de cologne spray, it will retail for $65 for 3.4 oz.
The women’s juice, concocted by Firmenich’s Richard Herpin, opens with pear, mango and starfruit notes, has a heart of frangipani, plumeria and freesia, and a drydown of musk, driftwood and vanilla bean. A 3.4 oz. eau de toilette spray will retail for $65.
The scents will be available only in the brand’s 140 stores and on tommybahama.com and will be on counter in October.
Tommy Bahama’s previous scents include Island Life, a masterbrand launched in March; 2013’s Tommy Bahama for Men, and 2014’s Compass, also for men. Tommy Bahama had previously signed a licensing deal with Gemini Cosmetics Inc. in 2004.
