Erwin Creed to Appear at Vancouver’s Holt Renfrew

On Friday, the seventh-generation perfumer will appear at Holt Renfrew in Vancouver to meet with Creed clients and sign bottles from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Rarely does Erwin Creed make his way to North America for a public appearance — but that’s about to change.

On Friday, the seventh-generation perfumer will appear at Holt Renfrew in Vancouver to meet with Creed clients and sign bottles from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.

“Vancouver is an incredibly modern city,” said Creed. “Every public appearance is research and I like hearing about what works for their market and understanding our clients’ needs better.”

“The House of Creed has created a legacy of remarkable fragrances that our customers greatly admire,” added Wayne Peterson, Holt Renfrew’s divisional vice president of cosmetics.

So why is now a good time for Creed to come to North America?

“Our business has experienced tremendous growth in North America over the past couple of years,” he said, noting that The House of Creed is experiencing strong double-digit growth.

“The Canadian market has been underpenetrated for The House of Creed, so we are very much in growth mode there,” added Thomas Saujet, president of International Cosmetics & Perfumes. “In 2014, we invested and refocused the business and are looking to further drive our positioning in Canada to mirror our top positioning in the US.”
