The coral-tinged scent, described as a fruity chypre oriental, has notes of grapefruit flower, red currant, wild rose and jasmine sambac on a base of cashmere wood and patchouli. The perfumer is Oliver Polge of International Flavors & Fragrances. It is housed in a plain glass rectangular bottle, topped with a silver and peach cap.
Serene strawberry-blonde German actress Karoline Herfurth (“The Reader,” “Perfume — The Story of a Murderer”) will be the face of Eve in upcoming TV and print campaigns for the fragrance.
The range includes an eau de toilette in 30-, 50- and 75-ml. sizes (recommended prices of 39, 59 and 77 euros, respectively, or $55, $83, and $109 at current exchange); shower gel (20 euros, or $28); body lotion (22 euros, or $31) in 200 ml.; and deodorant in 100 ml. (24 euros, or $34).
The fragrance will be launched in September in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Russia, Spain and the Benelux countries.
