Liu Jo, Perfume Holding Sign License

It marks the first time the Italian ready-to-wear label enters the world of scent.

PARIS — Italian ready-to-wear label Liu Jo has signed a worldwide fragrance licensing deal with Perfume Holding, the companies said jointly Tuesday.

“We are convinced that Liu Jo has the potential soon to become a brand known worldwide in the fragrance industry,” asserted Enrico Ceccato, Perfume Holding chief executive officer.

Liu Jo last year registered sales of 273 million euros, or $351 million at average exchange.

Perfume Holding’s fragrance portfolio also includes brands such as Ferrari, La Perla, Ducati, Benetton and John Galliano.
