L’Oréal USA to Acquire Assets From Raylon

The deal will expand the coverage of L’Oréal’s SalonCentric distribution business.

PARIS — L’Oréal USA has signed an agreement to acquire key assets from Raylon Corp., a full-service wholesale distributor of salon professional products that is owned by the Hafetz family.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

L’Oréal said the acquisition will expand the coverage of its SalonCentric distribution business in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and parts of Maryland, West Virginia and New York, representing about 3,500 salons.

SalonCentric was created in 2008. It operates in 48 states in the U.S. and includes salon professional brands such as L’Oréal Professionnel, Matrix, Mizani and Redken 5th Avenue.
