Oribe and Kao-owned Goldwell plan to cover the hairstyling and color market by joining forces.

Effective immediately, the hair-care brands will enter an educational collaboration and strategic alliance offering salons education and service options in the U.S.

Salons that carry both brands will be able to gain access to the new joint educational and professional support initiatives, marketing programs to help salons grow their businesses.

“At Goldwell Hair Color, we like to say that ‘we think stylist.’ This means that every product we develop, every educational initiative we envision, and every salon support program we put forward was created with stylists in mind,” said Trevor Attenborough, KAO’s salon division U.S. president and general manager. “As the namesake brand of a celebrity hairstylist, Oribe intuitively shares this philosophy. Partnering with Oribe will only make this vision stronger as we work together to create initiatives for and by stylists.”

Salon professionals will discover both brands at each other’s creative shows and education activities, including Oribe’s regional events across the country and its large education extravaganza taking place this fall in Miami.
