With its recent entry into body, Rahua is putting a focus back on hair and growing its styling collection.
Launching on Aug. 5 on rahua.com, the company is unveiling a Defining Hair Spray and Voluminous Dry Shampoo composed of natural ingredients.
The Defining Hair Spray, which is priced at $37, contains 90 percent of natural ingredients. Blended with organic alcohol, organic aloe, green tea, natural sugar and a sugar-derived polymer, the non-aerosol styling product creates definition and hold and is said to mitigate UV rays.
Meanwhile, made up of 100 percent of natural ingredients, the Voluminous Dry Shampoo, $32, includes plant and mineral elements to absorb oil, sweat and dirt.
“We are working on more innovative [styling] formulas,” said Fabian Lliguin, chief executive officer and cofounder of Rahua. “We hear from our prestige salon partners, stylists and our luxury customers worldwide asking for more specific natural and organic styling products.”
Anna Ayers, vice president and cofounder of Rahua, added, “Our strategic vision is to continue developing innovative, highly efficacious and luxurious products with naturally derived and unique ingredients that support protecting the planet’s natural resources, especially the Amazon. We live this way and know that our customers around the world value the same things we do. We are open to expanding our line in many directions in the future.”
