RPZL is aiming to take its long locks around the world. The Manhattan-based hair extension and blowout bar has redesigned its Web site with an eye toward global sales.
Launching this month, rpzl.com features global e-commerce of the brand’s hair extensions. In An Instant offers 16 shades of 16 clip-in 16- to 18-inch-long virgin hair extensions starting at $250; Pop’s six shades include Trailblazer Blue and Rockstar Red, offering two clips for $32; Kidz is the junior form of Pop, with colors ranging from Key Lime Pie to Strawberry Shortcake, each $12 per clip.
If consumers aren’t sure which shade to choose, the Web site offers a “Headmaster” program. Users upload a selfie to the site, and RPZL founders Monica Thornton and Lisa Richards and their team will select the appropriate shade.
For those local to New York City, RPZL’s Flatiron studio offers a full range of extension services and blowouts, ranging in pricefrom $30 to $80, and in a nod to the busy professionals who fill its chairs, the salon also offers chairside checkout at its The Gorgeous Bar, where blowouts and expert extension advice are offered.
