“While our Hydrating Mask always delivered moisturizing protection for dry and sensitive skin, we heard from consumers that a key part of the experience they sought was a richer consistency and creamier texture,” said Geoffrey Rice, director of brand communications at Dr. Hauschka.
The new formula is infused with almond, avocado and jojoba oils in order to hydrate the skin, while rose wax and beeswax are incorporated to soothe and protect against dryness. It is advised to use the mask for 20 minutes on the face, neck or décolleté if needed.
“Like the entire Dr. Hauschka line, the key difference [with this product] is that it is an all-natural blend of nurturing botanical ingredients that work in harmony with one another and with the skin to support its natural processes of hydration, protection and renewal.” Rice continued.
Dr. Hauschka reports estimated retail sales of $20 million in the U.S., according to its director of national sales, Elizabeth Crowell.
