Biotherm Sponsors Aquapower Expedition

The 72-day voyage is meant to help protect the ocean.

PARIS — Biotherm Homme is sponsoring the Aquapower Expedition, which involves windsurf champion Florian Jung, marine biologist Frauke Bagusche and others sailing on a catamaran from Guadeloupe to Marseille, France.

“We have one common goal: to protect the ocean,” stated Jung.

The voyage — to be divided into eight stages — began on April 8 and will last for 72 days. It involves surf sessions, beach cleaning and the collecting of samples from an area of the Atlantic Ocean polluted with plastic.

Thirty-year-old Biotherm Homme is the bestselling premium men’s skin care brand worldwide, according to Euromonitor International. It’s owned by L’Oréal.

Biotherm kicked off the Biotherm Water Lovers program — of which the Aquapower Expedition is a part — three years ago to help water protection and preservation.
