To celebrate the launch of Caudalíe’s newest product, Premier Cru The Elixir, Athena Calderone of Eye Swoon, the interior design and food blog, hosted a cocktail party at Caudalíe’s Bleecker Street location on Thursday. The scene was complete with flowers, which were designed by Putnam and Putnam, wine from Caudalíe cofounder Mathilde Thomas’ vineyard, hors d’oeuvres from Poppy’s Catering and a homemade jam — all inspired by the natural ingredients infused in the elixir.
“Everything that you see here, every kind of experience, is all inspired by [Caudalíe],” Calderone said. “[Mathilde Thomas and I] sat together at lunch, and we talked about everything from the winery, which her family owns, to our love of food and how food is the greatest common denominator and brings people together.”
Meanwhile, Thomas welcomed partygoers — including guests like Alec and Hilaria Baldwin, Mara Hoffman and Jennifer Fisher — to the event by explaining the history behind the line and noted how to use the product.
