Seed Beauty is launching a second brand of its own.

The first — ColourPop — has gained a cult status (and 6.1 million Instagram followers) for its trend-driven, value-priced makeup offerings. Seed Beauty cofounders Laura Nelson and John Nelson are hoping that Fourth Ray Beauty, set to launch Aug. 23 on fourthraybeauty.com, will do the same for the skin-care category.
