Seed Beauty is launching a second brand of its own.

The first — ColourPop — has gained a cult status (and 6.1 million Instagram followers) for its trend-driven, value-priced makeup offerings. Seed Beauty cofounders Laura Nelson and John Nelson are hoping that Fourth Ray Beauty, set to launch Aug. 23 on, will do the same for the skin-care category.
