Wittke, the former president and chief executive officer of Tweezerman International, is credited with propelling the distribution of Tweezerman by building upon its quality manufacturing teamed with product innovation. She saw similar needs in the booming beauty mask market for affordable and convenient options. Because the packaging is portion-sized, Wittke said consumers can easily select formulas to tailor to changing skin conditions. The packaging isn’t the only defining feature, she said, pointing to the product creation. “We manufacture with Natural Oil Dispersion Technology that uses physics instead of chemistry to blend oil and water, which avoids the use of chemical emulsifiers that can impair your natural skin barrier function. All our masks are formulated with [greater] than 90 percent natural or naturally derived ingredients and without petrochemicals, parabens, synthetic fragrances and synthetic colors,” she said.
