LONDON — First-quarter group revenue at Asos.com, the online fast-fashion retailer, advanced 30 percent to 169.4 million pounds, or $271.1 million at current exchange, on the back of strong growth in the U.K. and international markets, the company said Tuesday.
Total retail sales in the three months to November 30 climbed 24 percent in the U.K., and 57 percent in the U.S., where the company has been expanding rapidly. Earlier this month, the retailer signed a lease for its first U.S. office, a 3,325-square-foot space at 142 Greene Street in New York.
Etro’s show, titled “The Tree of Life,” was a celebration of the house’s 50th anniversary. “My father founded the company in 1968, which was the year of counterculture and psychedelia.
