HONG KONG — Taiwanese fabric firm Wu Luen Knitting has opened a new manufacturing facility, consolidating its former spandex and rigid knitting mills.
Located in Changhua, the 85,000 square feet site is also positioned near a Wu Luen dyeing factory.
“Our objective is to collaborate with our customers to consistently develop and deliver exceptional textiles that provide them with a competitive edge and stable growth,” said Peter Wu, chairman of Wu Luen Knitting Co. “The new facility optimizes our ability to anticipate customers’ needs while offering a modern, comfortable environment for our employees to thrive.”
Set up in 1985, Wu Luen has grown to approximately 600 employees. The vertically integrated firm specializes in producing custom warp and circular knits for sportswear, footwear and accessories, swimwear and intimate apparel. It also offers dyeing, laminating and printing services.
