Asian indices ended another session in mixed territory as oil prices extended their losses and investors digested weak manufacturing data out of China.
Shanghai’s SSE climbed 2.26 percent to end the day at 2,750 while Tokyo’s Nikkei 225 dropped 0.64 percent to finish at 17,751. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng slipped 0.76 percent to 19,447.
In Tokyo, Shiseido shed 1.74 percent to end at 2,481 yen, coming off its rally the previous day. Isetan Mitsukoshi rose 4.96 percent to end at 1,546 yen after it reported higher nine-month profit and sales late last week.
In Hong Kong, Li & Fung rose 1.33 percent to 4.58 Hong Kong dollars.
