Asian indices finished lower on Friday as investors continued to exercise caution over the state of the global economy.
Shanghai’s SSE inched down 0.1 percent to end at 2,860 while Hong Kong’s Hang Seng slipped 0.4 percent to finish at 19,286. Tokyo’s Nikkei 225 posted the biggest drop, losing 1.4 percent to close at 15,967.
Fast Retailing shed 1.4 percent to end at 31,500 yen while Isetan Mitsukoshi dropped 1.1 percent to 1,307 yen. Chow Tai Fook slipped 1.3 percent to 4.47 Hong Kong dollars while Esprit dropped 1 percent 7.70 Hong Kong dollars.
