NEW YORK — Condé Nast Publications has put up for sale three of its business-to-business titles, Supermarket News, Home Furnishings News and InFurniture.

The three publications operate under the Fairchild division, which earlier this year was segmented into Fairchild Publications and the Fairchild Fashion Group.

The Fairchild Fashion Group, consisting of WWD, DNR, Footwear News, Summits, Classified and the Book Division, will continue as a division of Condé Nast Publications and remain a key component of the company’s long-term business strategy.

“After careful consideration, we have decided to explore the sale of Supermarket News, Home Furnishings and InFurniture,” said Condé Nast group president and publishing director Mitchell Fox. “While each of these properties plays a leading role in the markets they serve, they reflect areas of business-to-business publishing that are not key to our core mission.

“Until such time as a sale is made, we will continue to operate with the same level of rigor and diligence with which we approach the business today,” Fox said.
