LONDON — European stock markets were uneven in midmorning trading on Monday.

The FTSE MIB in Milan fell 1.2 percent to 1,7592.27, while the CAC 40 in Paris dipped 0.1 percent, to 4,352.44. The DAX in Frankfurt was up 0.4 percent to 4,352 and the FTSE 100 in London advanced 0.2 percent to 6,167.22.

The euro traded at $1.12, the pound at $1.44, the Swiss franc at $1.00 and the Danish krona at $0.15 at 10:45 a.m. CET.

Retail and luxury stocks were uneven, with the morning’s biggest gainers including Jimmy Choo, 1.5 percent to 1.16 pounds; Adidas, 1.4 percent to 114.70 euros, and Pandora, 1.2 percent to 998 Danish kronor.

Among the morning’s biggest fallers were Carrefour, 3.4 percent to 24 euros; French Connection, 2 percent to 0.36 pounds, and Mulberry Group, 1.2 percent to 10.25 pounds.
