G-III Apparel Group Ltd. has completed its two-for-one stock split, expanding the number of shares outstanding to 45 million.
The split was effected through the distribution after the close of the market Friday of one additional share of G-III common stock for every share held by stockholders of record at the close of business on April 20.
Shares will begin trading on the Nasdaq stock market on the morning of May 4.
The New York-based outerwear and sportswear firm owns the Vilebrequin, Andrew Marc, March New York, G.H. Bass and Wilsons Leather brands and retail nameplates and does business under a series of licensed names, including Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Kenneth Cole, Guess and Levi’s, under various licensing agreements.
