PARIS — Hennes & Mauritz AB said total sales in local currencies rose 12 percent in October, slightly above the previous month’s trend.

The figures do not incorporate the launch of the Swedish fashion retailer’s collaboration with French fashion house Balmain, which hit the racks on Nov. 5 and sold out within hours.

In September, sales rose 11 percent compared to a 1 percent increase in August, as exceptionally warm weather across Europe kept many customers out of stores. H&M provided only a percentage figure, and no longer breaks out same-store sales data. Total sales include value-added taxes.

H&M noted its store count came to 3,807 on Oct. 31 versus 3,437 on the same date in 2014. The company is to report the percentage sales development for November and total revenue for the fourth quarter on Dec. 15.
