PARIS — Hennes & Mauritz AB reported same-store sales grew by 3 percent in June, matching the same pace the retailer logged in May.
The Swedish fast-fashion behemoth said group sales last month including VAT in local currencies increased by 13 percent. That compares to a five percent increase in June 2011.
The company released percentage figures only, and is to report July figures on Aug. 15.
H&M’s global store count stood at 2,596 on June 30 versus 2,305 a year ago.
