Indochino has gotten some outside financing.
The online men’s wear company has received $4 million from Madrona Venture Group and Burda Digital Ventures. The company, which is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, will use the funding to “accelerate investment in technology and product development, expand its executive team and continue to grow its base of more than 17,000 customers worldwide,” according to the company.
“We want to bring high-quality custom apparel to the masses, enabling men to get fashionable, affordable, made-to-measure clothing, anywhere in the world, in under two weeks,” said Kyle Vucko, co-founder and chief executive officer of Indochino.
The company started its business selling men’s custom suits, but now offers sport coats, outerwear, dress shirts, slacks and accessories.
