STEAMING AHEAD: Jimmy Choo plc is on moving up the ranks of the London Stock Exchange, and will most likely become a member of the FTSE 250 group of top stocks. The FTSE companies are the largest in terms of market capitalization. According to the London Stock Exchange Group, a final decision whether to admit Choo will be made later this week, and the admittance, if it happens, will be made effective after market close on Dec. 19. Jimmy Choo’s first day of trading was Oct. 17, with a debut share price of 1.40 pounds, or $2.19. On Monday the stock closed down 1 percent at 1.72 pounds, or $2.69. The brand’s market capitalization as of Dec. 1 was 669.4 million pounds, or $1.05 billion.
