PARIS — Inter Parfums SA reported that its 2012 consolidated sales are expected to reach 400 million euros, or $538 million, up 8 percent year-on-year. The forecast is based on current euro-dollar exchange levels.
For 2011, the French subsidiary of Inter Parfums Inc. projects consolidated revenues will reach 370 million euros, or $497.7 million, a 20 percent gain against 2010.
Dollar figures are calculated from the euro at the current exchange rate.
The company said this year the Jimmy Choo and Montblanc Legend fragrance lines have been strong growth drivers. Also contributing to gains have been the introduction of Burberry Body scent line, the Lanvin fragrance collection and the consolidation of Van Cleef & Arpels’ fragrance activity.
As reported, Inter Parfums SA’s third-quarter sales spiked 29.2 percent on-year to 109.5 million euros, or $155 million at average exchange for the three-month period.
