Ryan Mash is headed to Barclays Capital as head of retail mergers and acquisitions.
Mash had been managing director and head of retail M&A at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he spent 12 years and advised Limited Brands, Macy’s Inc. and others on over 30 transactions valued at more than $30 billion.
He will report to Gary Posternack, head of M&A for the Americas, and work closely with Andrew Taussig, vice chairman and head of global retail investment banking.
“Ryan is an accomplished M&A banker with an extraordinary understanding of the retail sector and a proven ability to deliver first-class counsel and differentiated advice to his clients,” Posternack said.
He will join the bank in July. Bank of America is looking for a replacement.
