PARIS — The men’s toiletries market in Russia is on the rise.
It’s expected to grow 10 percent to $982 million between 2013 and 2017, according to a study by research company Canadean.
“This growth comes as older men are seeking convenient products for their increasingly busy lifestyles,” the firm said.
Multifaceted, time-saving products, such as after-shave with sun protection and moisturizing properties, are key to the category. They generated $211 million in 2013 sales, said Canadean.
Hypermarkets and supermarkets are Russia’s biggest sellers of men’s toiletries, ringing up 52 percent of all products.
