Milan’s municipality has signed, on Monday, a two-year agreement with the New York City Economic Development Corporation to develop a project aimed at boosting economic exchanges between young companies based in Milan and New York.

In particular, 20 start-ups operating in a range of sectors — including technology and green economy, food, social innovation, fashion and design — will have the chance to use coworking spaces in Milan and New York to meet investors, stakeholders and clients. The selected companies will be also supported in the search of sponsors to develop their projects and expand their business across the Italian and U.S. markets.
