Given the whirlwind of uncertainties in the economy — from oil prices and currencies to interest rates and geopolitics — Morgan Stanley singled out 30 companies that could be good investments over the next three years.
“The main criterion is sustainability — of competitive advantage, business model, pricing power, cost efficiency and growth,” the bank said. “We have tried to identify the best franchises, not the most undervalued stocks.”
A number of companies with a hand in fashion made the cut, including Amazon. com, Costco Wholesale, Estée Lauder, L Brands, Nike and Walgreens Boots Alliance.
