Nike Inc. reached a deal to sell its Bauer Hockey business to private equity player Kohlberg & Co. for $200 million in cash.

The divestiture is part of the athletic giant’s drive to get the most out of its portfolio of subsidiary brands, which contribute $2 billion in annual revenues.

Nike expects the deal to be finished up before the end of the current fiscal year, roughly the end of May.
