MILAN — The Roberto Cavalli group and Caleffi, through its controlled firm Mirabello Carrara, specializing in the home luxury segment, have renewed the Roberto Cavalli Home Linen license for the production and worldwide distribution of bed, bath and table collections.

The four-year license, first inked with Caleffi in 2011, has been signed with Mirabello Carrara and will last until 2019.

Renato Semerari, chief executive officer of the Cavalli group, said the Caleffi collaboration “has registered a great success globally, highlighting Mirabello Carrara’s “strong presence” outside of Italy and its Made in Italy craftsmanship.

Last week, commenting on Cavalli’s 2015 results, Semerari said the group’s hospitality division “is a sector that is potentially important. It adds visibility and prestige and contributes to the image of the brand.” The hospitality project counts six Cavalli Caffès and three Cavalli Clubs.

As reported, there will be a cocktail event to present the new home collection at the signature brand’s flagship on Milan’s Via Montenapoleone on April 12 during the city’s international furniture and design show, the Salone del Mobile.

Mirabello Carrara has been controlled by Caleffi, which is listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, since 2008. In addition to its own Mirabello and Carrara brands, the company also produces and distributes under license the Trussardi Home Linen and Les Voiles de Saint Tropez collections.
