TOKYO—Uniqlo’s same-store sales in November rose 7.9 percent, boosted by chilly weather and major promotional campaigns.

Fast Retailing Co. Ltd. said Wednesday that the number of consumers at its Uniqlo stores rose 7.3 percent in like-for-like terms. The total number of customers, including online shoppers, was up 15.8 percent. Uniqlo capitalized on the dropping temperatures in Japan to push its fleece, Heattech and down products. Fast Retailing also launched several special offers-including cash giveaways- to celebrate its 60th anniversary.

Uniqlo’s same-store sales in Japan jumped 35.7 percent in October, getting a boost from fall’s dropping temperatures across the country, the launch of Jil Sander’s +J collection and other promotional campaigns.

The monthly figures refer to the brand’s Japanese business and exclude Uniqlo’s operations outside Japan.
