Saxx underwear

Saxx is growing its team.

The Canada-based men’s underwear brand has hired Adrienne Moser as vice president of product and Kathleen McNally as creative director.

Moser is a current Saxx board member but will move into her new position immediately. She was most recently the vice president of global apparel merchandising and design at Columbia Sportswear and has also held positions at Patagonia, Nau and LaCrosse footwear.

Moser said that after a year-and-a-half serving on the board, she will now focus on growing the brand “through the delivery of innovative, premium products that deliver on the perfect blend of style and performance.”

McNally previously served as creative director at Columbia Sportswear and has held design positions at Lucy, J. Crew and Nike.

Tim Bartels, chief executive officer of Saxx, said that McNally’s “creative design talent…will elevate Saxx as we build our core business and expand into new category extensions.”

Saxx is known for its patented men’s underwear, which retails from $30 to $60, that feature internal mesh panels. These hires are part of the brand’s bigger plan to expand its U.S. presence. Saxx will also open a merchandising and design satellite office in Portland, Ore., during the first half of 2016.
