Andrea Elliott has joined Phillips-Van Heusen Corp. in the new post of vice president and general manager of Canadian retail operations.
Elliott, who most recently operated her own consulting firm, will be responsible for the launch of Calvin Klein, Van Heusen, Izod and G.H. Bass & Co. stores throughout Canada and will report to Steve Shiffman, group president and chief operating officer of PVH Retail.
Prior to her own consultancy, Elliott was with PricewaterhouseCoopers Canada as executive vice president and earlier in her career worked at Gap Inc. and Williams-Sonoma Inc. In her new position, she will be based in Toronto.
A spokesman for PVH said that plans for its Canada rollout will be disclosed shortly. Unlike the four brands under Elliott’s purview, Tommy Hilfiger, acquired by PVH in May 2010, already operates stores in Canada.
