LONDON — Anya Hindmarch has appointed James Taylor as financial director, with immediate effect, the London-based luxury accessories firm said this week.
Taylor’s role was previously undertaken by a consultant at the company, and he will report to Helen Wright, chief executive officer of Anya Hindmarch, and Anya Hindmarch, who serves as chairman. Taylor also joins Anya Hindmarch’s executive committee.
Before joining the company, Taylor was director of finance at GHD, a British firm that creates hairstyling tools and products, where he was responsible for revenue development. He also played what Anya Hindmarch described as a “lead role” in GHD’s 300 million pound, or $468 million, acquisition by Lion Capital in 2013. Prior to that, Taylor was director of European transactions at Tishman Speyer, a U.S. property fund.
