Aquascutum's fall 2016 campaign

LONDON — Aquascutum has made two new hires in its corporate and creative teams.

Te Dinh Sy is joining the brand this month as its new head of men’s wear, succeeding Thomas Harvey, who left the business in July. Dinh Sy previously worked for brands including Kenzo and Alexander McQueen, after his graduation from Kingston University where he studied fashion.

Dinh Sy will report to the company’s second new hire, Philip Brassington who has also joined the company as managing director. Brassington will be succeeding Aquascutum’s former chief operating officer, Mark Taylor, who left the company last July. Brassington most recently held the role of managing director at Dunhill.

“I feel confident that their wealth of experience will complement the existing team in driving the brand forward,” said Andrew Chan, the brand’s chief executive officer.

The British luxury label is also in the process of reviving its women’s wear offer. London-based designer Kasha Crampton, who previously held design roles at Reiss’ women’s and men’s wear departments, was appointed senior women’s wear designer and given the task of revitalizing the label’s women’s range.

Crampton also reports to new managing director Philip Brassington.

His spring collection for the label will be presented during London Fashion Week, which is taking place on Sept. 16 to 20. The brand will be returning to the London show schedule for the first time since 2008.
