Rebekah von der Hellen, Beauty Barrage's newest strategic hire.

Beauty Barrage has named Rebekah Von Der Hellen as vice president of sales development.

With more than 300 employees in its field team, Beauty Barrage bolsters brands at retail and serves to outperform brands’ own proprietary sales associates, enabling higher return on investment with brand partners such as Proactive, Perricone MD, L’Oréal and others.

Von Der Hellen recently held the role of account director at Beauty Barrage, activating sales and partnership strategies for clients such as Proactiv and Guthy Renker. Her career in the beauty world spans 24 years, with prior leadership for brands such as L’Oréal, MAC, Bare Minerals and Smashbox.

Her experience includes establishing business guidelines for the East and West Coast L’Oréal Paris concept stores, overseeing Smashbox’s first retail store in the U.S. and developing numerous makeup artists and sales associates at retailers such as Sephora, Ulta, Nordstrom and Macy’s.

In her new role, Von der Hellen will be responsible for the leadership of the Beauty Barrage field sales team and “will plan effective initiatives that will drive fiscal retail sales targets and support marketing objectives” for the company’s clients.

In a statement, Sonia Summers, chief executive officer and founder of Beauty Barrage, mentioned Von Der Hellen’s “great reputation throughout the industry developing field teams,” and “that Rebekah understands what our brand partners need and how to bring it to life.”
