MILAN — Salvatore Ferragamo SpA chief financial officer Ugo Giorcelli, who will leave the Florence-based luxury house on Jan. 11, will join Benetton Group Srl in March. His role will be that of staff general director, tasked with responsibilities in finance, fiscal, IT, human resources, centralized purchases and general services.
Giorcelli joined Ferragamo in March 2017 after a 10-year run at hearing aids firm Amplifon SpA, where he was also cfo. Before that, he was senior vice president of finance at the American group Danka and cfo of the Spanish group Service Point Solutions. As reported, Giorcelli will be succeeded by Alessandro Corsi at Ferragamo.
Benetton’s current cfo, Sandro Saccardi, will shift to the Benetton family’s real estate firm Edizione Property SpA, controlled by Edizione Srl, as chief operating officer in March.
As reported, in January Luciano Benetton, one of the founders of the group, returned to the family-owned firm as executive president with the goal to steer it back to growth.
