Revlon has recruited Benjamin Karsch to the post of executive vice president, chief marketing officer.

Karsch, who joined Revlon Monday, will lead global brand marketing, product development, consumer engagement and public relations of the company’s consumer division. He reports to Lorenzo Delpani, the firm’s chief executive officer.

Karsch’s appointment comes a year after the departure of Julia Goldin, who previously held the post of senior vice president and global chief marketing officer.

Prior to Revlon, Karsch most recently was chief marketing officer at the health insurance company Cigna, where he was tasked with bringing a more consumer-centric approach to the brand and building digital and mobile capabilities and marketing analytics.

He also has held roles at Las Vegas Sands, McKinsey & Co., Procter & Gamble Co. and Johnson & Johnson.

“In our extensive search, we wanted someone who could passionately inspire a deeper engagement with our brands, our consumers and the strategy of value creation at our company,” Delpani stated.

Karsch said, “I am inspired by Lorenzo’s passion and share his vision for driving growth at Revlon.”
