LONDON – Burberry has named Rebecca Martinez to the newly-created role of vice president of PR, events and entertainment relations, a global position.
Burberry said that since Martinez joined the company in 2005, she has been at the heart of the communications team, holding a number of senior PR roles in London, Shanghai and Hong Kong.
She most recently led the communications teams through the launch of Makers House in London, Burberry’s show venue in Soho, and the latest February and September runway collections.
She will report to Sarah Manley, Burberry’s chief marketing officer, and is based in Burberry’s London headquarters at Horseferry House. The appointment is effective immediately, Burberry said.
