Chico’s FAS Inc. has nominated Deborah L. Kerr for election to its board when the annual meeting of shareholders is held on June 22, 2017.
Kerr will fill the spot vacated by Ross E. Roeder, who is retiring from the board. There is a one-year term remaining in the board membership to be vacated by Roeder. Roeder joined the board in 1997, and served as chairman from 2009 to 2015.

Kerr was most recently executive vice president and chief product and technology offer of Sabre Corp. She has worked at FICO, Hewlett-Packard Co. and NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. She is also on the boards of DH Corp. and EXL Service Holdings Inc.
David F. Walker, chair of Chico’s board, said, “Ms. Kerr is a highly experienced technology and product expert, with proven skills in innovation and risk management.”
Shelley Broader, president and chief executive officer of Chico’s FAS, said, “I am looking forward to Ms. Kerr’s seasoned counsel as we continue to enhance our customers’ overall experience with the Chico’s FAS brads, both in our stores and online.”
