Christopher Giglio has joined The Estée Lauder Cos. Inc. as vice president of global corporate communications.
Giglio, most recently executive vice president of the corporate and crisis communications practice of HL Group, reports to Alexandra Trower, executive vice president of global communications for the New York-based beauty giant.
Giglio’s career has included experience in corporate communications and television journalism. He was a director at Kroll Associates, where his work included posts in Hong Kong and the Middle East, before joining NBC News, where he served as an investigative producer on the newsmagazine “Dateline,” and later joined Rubenstein Associates, where he advised clients on media relations, corporate positioning and issues management.
Trower said that Giglio, “with his proven leadership in strategic communications and reputation management…will play a key role in delivering the company’s long-term growth strategy by elevating and protecting the reputation of The Estée Lauder Cos. and its portfolio of prestige beauty brands globally.”
