MILAN — Italian cosmetics supplier Chromavis has named two new executives.
Cecilia Schena and Elena Secchi joined the company as vice president of marketing and vice president of sales, respectively.
Both executives count more than 20 years of experience in the industry. Schena hails from Italian beauty tools specialist Tenacta Group, where she was beauty industry director, and previously held roles in marketing and communications at Bottega Verde and Deborah Group.
Secchi specialized in sales of ingredients and raw materials for cosmetic purposes working at IMCD and Prodotti Gianni Srl, where she was business unit manager and sales manager, respectively. At Chromavis, she will oversee the firm’s international expansion coordinating the different sales teams.
With these two additions, Chromavis fine-tuned its top management, which already includes the research and development vice president Ilaria Faravelli, the vice president of operations Pasquale Ingravalle and the chief financial officer Riccardo Remonti, in addition to Fabrizio Buscaini, who joined the company in 2017 as chief executive officer.
A division of French pharmaceutical company Fareva, Chromavis serves 340 clients in 75 countries. In the last couple of years, the supplier, which is best known for its baked powders, particularly focused on improving its speed of innovation, dedicating six hubs and enrolling 120 people — out of the 1,000 total employees — to R&D activities only.
