Claudia Poccia, who has been president and chief executive officer of Gurwitch Products for three years, has left the company, according to Candace Matthews, Amway Americas regional president.
According to a copy of an internal announcement, Robin Tolvin, chief of human resources and organizational development officer, and Alassandra Loreto, senior executive assistant, also were no longer with Gurwitch as of Monday.
While parent Amway of Ada, Mich., looks for a new Gurwitch ceo, Matthews said she will assume leadership of Gurwitch on an interim basis. The company, which includes Laura Mercier Cosmetics and the ReVive skin-care brand, will be managed by a leadership team.
It will include Nancy Bernardini, chief financial officer of Gurwitch, who will assume supply chain management and human resources. Regina Maguire, senior vice president of product innovation, education and artistry, will continue in those roles. Tricia Butler, formerly of Estée Lauder Cos., will head up sales at Gurwitch when she joins the company in March, Matthews said. Helena Sampson will continue as vice president of international markets in Europe.
Maud Pansing, Amway vice president of global beauty brand, will support the Gurwitch marketing team, Matthews said.
Poccia could not be reached for comment at press time.
