Jenny Belknap has been named senior vice president of global marketing for Clinique.
Belknap succeeds Agnes Landau, who was named senior vice president and global general manager of Darphin in September.
“Jenny is a strategic thinker, wonderful collaborator and an inspirational leader, and we are certain she will continue to play an influential role within her function and within the business,” said Jane Lauder, global brand president of Clinique, to whom Belknap will report. “At Origins, I had the privilege of working with Jenny, and she was instrumental in developing Origins’ updated brand positioning, which has greatly contributed to the brand’s success.”
Belknap began working at the Estée Lauder Cos. Inc. in 1995, working for the Estée Lauder brand within international marketing until 2002 and global marketing until 2003. In 2003, Belknap joined Origins as director of global marketing and was subsequently promoted to executive director and finally vice president of global marketing. In 2010, Belknap joined Clinique as vice president of global treatment marketing and has led many of Clinique’s most-successful treatment launches, including Even Better Clinical, Repairwear Laser Focus and, most recently, Smart Custom-Repair Serum and the Sonic System.
